Terms of service
Terms
Last updated October 2, 2026. This is a plain-language draft for review before launch.
The short version
Caring Voice is a tool for sharing how someone's day went. Be kind, be honest, keep PINs private, and remember that it is not a medical record or an emergency service.
Accounts
You must be an adult to create an account. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password and your people's PINs private. Tell us right away if you think an account or PIN has been compromised.
Caregivers
By sharing a QR code and PIN, you authorize those caregivers to write entries for that person. You are responsible for choosing who gets access and for changing the PIN when someone should no longer have it.
Not for emergencies
Alerts are a convenience, delivered by email, and may be delayed. If someone is hurt or in danger, call emergency services first and log it later.
Acceptable use
Do not use Caring Voice to harass, to log information about someone without proper authority, or to break any law. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your content
Entries and reports belong to the family. We keep them only to provide the service and delete them when you delete the person's page or your account.
The service
Caring Voice is provided as-is during the founding period. We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will never be down, late, or wrong, and we are not liable for losses that result from using it. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Changes
If these terms change in a meaningful way we will email account holders before the change takes effect.
